U.S. Military Operation in Venezuela Results in 100 Fatalities: Interior Ministry

Caracas: The U.S. attack against Venezuela has left 100 dead, Venezuela's interior ministry reported. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were injured during the raid, announced Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Cabello used a state television program to honor President Maduro, his wife, and the victims of the U.S. military operation. He condemned the attack as barbaric and despicable, noting that it harmed numerous innocent individuals.

The minister further characterized the operation as inhuman, asserting that the truth of the incident could not be concealed. Maduro and Flores were reportedly kidnapped during the large-scale U.S. military action against Venezuela early Saturday and transported to New York.
