London: The UK and the US have successfully tested a hypersonic propulsion system, the UK defense ministry announced on Sunday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the UK scientists completed a significant hypersonic propulsion test through extensive collaboration between the UK government, industry, and the US government. The newly tested propulsion system is designed to power an advanced hypersonic cruise missile concept. A total of 233 test runs were conducted across a variety of hypersonic speeds, marking a pivotal advancement in UK defense capabilities, as stated by the ministry.
