Vietnam Calls for Stronger Digital Infrastructure, Tech Mastery

Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam has underscored the need to develop fundamental digital infrastructure, including cloud computing, high-performance computing, 5G, and 6G data centers. He made the remarks on Wednesday at Innovate Vietnam 2025, a major science, technology, and innovation event held in Hanoi.

The World Intellectual Property Organization reported that Vietnam ranked 44th among 139 economies in the 2025 Global Innovation Index, as highlighted by Vietnam News Agency.
