HANOI: Vietnam's tax revenues from organizations and individuals engaged in e-commerce activities have reached 94.6 trillion Vietnamese dong (3.74 billion U.S. dollars) in the first ten months of this year. This marks a 17-percent increase compared to the same period last year.According to Namibia Press Agency, over 191,000 traders operating on various platforms recorded business transactions amounting to 72 trillion dong (2.8 billion dollars). The report, which cites the General Department of Taxation, highlights the growing number of e-commerce platforms, with 412 registering their tax information with Vietnam's tax authorities.With the rapid rise in internet shopping, Vietnam's B2C e-commerce revenue is expected to reach 29 billion dollars by the end of next year. This forecast is based on data from the E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
