Omaheke region: Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration Safety and Security, Edward Wambo, on Wednesday paid a visit to the Trans-Kalahari border post and Mamuno One-Stop border post in the Omaheke Region. Wambo's visit forms part of the ministry's efforts to strengthen border security, improve service delivery, enhance inter-agency cooperation, and support frontline personnel.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the visit gave the deputy minister and his delegation the opportunity to assess operations at one of Namibia's busiest border crossings and gain first-hand insight into the functioning of the country's border management systems. During the visit, the delegation toured the one-stop border post facilities on both the Namibian and Botswana sides, where they engaged with officials and staff members responsible for facilitating the movement of people and goods across the border.
