Chinese President Xi Jinping will award national medals and honorary titles at a ceremony to be held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing at 10 a.m. Sunday ahead of the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will deliver an important speech at the ceremony.Three types of awards -- the Medal of the Republic, the Friendship Medal and medals of national honorary titles -- will be granted at the ceremony.Source: The Namibia News Agency
