Beijing: Today's Xinjiang is experiencing the best period of development in its history, according to a white paper issued by the Information Office of the State Council here Friday.According to Namibia Press Agency, solid steps have been taken to govern China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in accordance with the law. The measures include maintaining stability through ethnic unity, strengthening cultural identity and bonds, and bringing greater prosperity to the region and its people. The document highlights the long-term developmental perspective for Xinjiang.The white paper, titled "CPC Guidelines for Governing Xinjiang in the New Era: Practice and Achievements," emphasizes that these efforts have led to unprecedented economic and social development in Xinjiang. There has been a significant improvement in people's wellbeing, resulting in a greater sense of gain, happiness, and security for the people of the region.
