Windhoek:The Bank of Namibia has given Access Bank Namibia Limited the green light to conduct banking operations within the country, starting on October 2, 2026.

According to Namibia Press Agency, this authorization was provided under Section 13(2) of the Banking Institutions Act, 2023 (Act No. 13 of 2023) after a thorough assessment aligning with the Act's stipulations.

Access Bank Namibia Limited is now empowered to carry out banking activities in Namibia, which includes accepting deposits and offering banking services to the public, as confirmed by the Bank of Namibia.
