Madrid: Barcelona has moved to the top of the Spanish La Liga standings following the completion of Saturday's matches. The Catalan club now leads the table with 54 points, having won 17 out of their 25 matches, drawn 3, and lost 5. They have scored a total of 67 goals while conceding 25.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Atletico Madrid closely trails Barcelona with 53 points. Atletico has played the same number of matches as Barcelona, winning 15, drawing 8, and losing 2, with 42 goals scored and 16 conceded. Real Madrid, with a game in hand, is in third place with 51 points, having won 15, drawn 6, and lost 3, scoring 52 goals and conceding 23.

Athletic Bilbao stands in fourth place with 45 points from 24 matches, while Villarreal rounds out the top five with 44 points from 25 matches. The standings reveal a competitive season, with multiple clubs still vying for top positions as the league progresses.

Further down the table, Rayo Vallecano and Mallorca occupy the sixth and seventh positions with 35 and 34 points, respectively. Real Betis, Celta Vigo, and Osasuna are all tied on 32 points, demonstrating the tight competition in the mid-table positions.
