Zheleznogorsk: A bridge collapsed early Sunday in the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk Oblast, derailing a freight train and causing a subsequent fire, the region's Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein said.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the collapse took place at the 48 km mark of the Trosna-Kalinovka highway. The incident resulted in part of the train falling onto the road beneath the bridge, with the locomotive catching fire.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene. The governor reported that one of the locomotive drivers sustained injuries during the incident.
