Beijing: China's commerce ministry expressed its opposition on Tuesday to the European Union's recent decision to include several Chinese firms and individuals in its 16th package of sanctions against Russia, warning that this move could negatively impact bilateral trade relations.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the commerce ministry highlighted concerns over the potential repercussions on trade ties between China and the EU. The ministry's statement emphasized the importance of maintaining stable and cooperative economic relations and cautioned that the inclusion of Chinese entities in the sanctions could disrupt ongoing trade dynamics.
