Beijing: Japan should give an honest, accurate, and complete clarification for its so-called "consistent position" on Taiwan, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson stated on Wednesday. The spokesperson emphasized that a written response released by the Japanese government on Tuesday continued to echo its previous rhetoric.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the Chinese official's remarks highlighted a call for transparency and clarity from Japan regarding its stance on Taiwan. The spokesperson expressed dissatisfaction with the Japanese government's response, urging Japan to avoid repeating old statements and instead provide a detailed explanation of its position on the matter.
