China’s Top Political Advisors Analyze Economic Trends in First Half of the Year

Beijing: The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's leading political advisory institution, convened a symposium on Friday to evaluate the macroeconomic performance of the nation in the first half of the year. The meeting was attended by Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, who addressed the gathering.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Wang highlighted that despite a challenging international landscape and rising uncertainties, China has managed to sustain stable economic growth since the start of the year. He emphasized a focus on strategic areas such as the goals and objectives of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the development of new quality productive forces based on local conditions, the expansion of domestic demand, and the steady promotion of common prosperity.

Wang urged for active discussion and the contribution of suggestions to ensure the effective execution of relevant measures. During the symposium, approximately 13 political advisors presented their insights on various topics, including stabilizing the capital market, enhancing technological innovation in private enterprises, and advancing artificial intelligence development.

Wang Yong, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the symposium, guiding discussions on these critical economic themes.
