The Namibia Netball Premier League (NNPL) action resumed in Otjiwarongo with rounds seven and eight matches serving exciting clashes.

Log leaders Namibia Correctional Services (NCS) lost their first match of the 2022 season to Mighty Gunners 49-33 points, a result which saw them being replaced at the top.

Blue Waters lost to Rebels by 32-22 points while Eleven Arrows and Northern Fly Ballers played out an exciting 50-50 draw.

Grootfontein lost to the Namibia Navy by 47-33 while NamPol Otjozondjupa lost to Tigers by 41-37.

Afrocat Lions beat Young Stars by 46-30 to conclude the business of round seven on Saturday.

On Sunday, round eight kicked off with Tigers beating Grootfontein by 56-20 points before Blue Waters accounted for Northern Fly Ballers 45-42.

NCS and Outjo NamPol played out a 46-46 draw before the Namibia Navy team beat Youngsters by 62-37 points.

Afrocat Lions beat Blue Waters 35-25 points before Mighty Gunners consolidated their top position on the log through a 57-37 victory over Rebels.
