Gobabis: The Electoral Commission of Namibia on Friday announced the final 2025 Regional Council election results for the Gobabis Constituency, Omaheke Region.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the results are as follows: the Swapo Party's Liberius Shetunyenga Kalili secured 2,501 votes, making him the leading candidate in the constituency. Independent candidate Veronia Gomotsang Kuzeeko followed closely with 2,307 votes. Willem Abuse from the Independent Patriots for Change garnered 293 votes.

Other candidates included Uataviza Patire from the National Unity Democratic Organisation with 265 votes and Melba Tjozongoro from the Popular Democratic Movement who received 166 votes. Lesley Barney Pienaar of the Landless People's Movement received 1,183 votes, while Shobo Mpho Berthard from the Republican Party secured 207 votes.

The UNP's Thomas Muronga Mathias received 46 votes, and Alfred Urandua Tjiroze from SWANU garnered 92 votes. There were also 134 rejected ballots. In total, 7,060 votes were counted in the election.
