Qeshm:Tehran Iran's air defense force has reportedly shot down two U.S. MQ-9 drones over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz. The incident was reported by Iran's state-run Press TV on Saturday.

According to Namibia Press Agency , Iran's state news agency IRNA earlier reported that local witnesses observed two projectiles striking the Suza area of Qeshm Island.

Al Jazeera, referencing an anonymous U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) official, posted on social media platform X that the command is aware of the reports concerning Qeshm Island. The official noted that "things are relatively calm," but declined to comment further.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Friday that U.S. forces had conducted new strikes targeting Iran's air defense systems, describing the military action as "minor." Trump explained to reporters in West Palm Beach, Florida, that the U.S. managed to dismantle an Iranian anti-aircraft device in a short span of time.

CENTCOM stated late Friday on X that the United States is offering a reward of up to 20 million U.S. dollars and potential relocation for information about Iran's nuclear program, which includes details on its facilities, equipment, and related personnel in the scientific community.

Iran has maintained that uranium enrichment is an essential component of its nuclear industry and asserts that its nuclear program complies with its safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
