Phnom Penh: Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone is set to make an official visit to Cambodia on December 4-5, following an invitation from Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet. During the visit, both leaders are scheduled to engage in comprehensive discussions aimed at strengthening the existing warm relations and expanding cooperation between their nations.According to Namibia Press Agency, Sonexay and Hun Manet will hold a bilateral meeting at the Peace Palace. The agenda includes fostering mutually beneficial cooperation aligned with principles of good neighborliness, traditional friendship, and a comprehensive strategic partnership. The discussions will also cover regional and international issues of common interest to both countries.Additionally, the two prime ministers are expected to preside over the signing of several cooperative documents. The visit is anticipated to further cement the traditional bonds of friendship and cooperation that continue to thrive between Laos and Cambodia, according to the Cambodian foreign ministry's press release.
