Katima Mulilo: The police in the Zambezi Region are investigating a murder case in connection with the death of a 42-year-old man at Katima Mulilo over the weekend. The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) reported on Monday that 42-year-old Sitongo Immanuel Mushwaulo died after allegedly being stabbed with a knife in the Lyambai location on Friday night.

According to Namibia Press Agency, it is alleged that the deceased was stabbed after he hit the suspect over the head with a bottle. His next of kin have been informed about the incident.

A 34-year-old male suspect has been arrested and is expected to make his first court appearance in the Katima Mulilo Magistrate's Court this week. Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
