Walvis Bay:Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) has inaugurated its first Mobile Home in Kuisebmond, a community in Walvis Bay, with the aim of bringing its customer services closer to local residents.
According to NAMPA, this new outlet is MTC's 42nd Mobile Home nationwide and the third customer service center in Walvis Bay. Elton Katangolo, MTC's General Manager for Sales, Enterprise, and CRM, emphasized that the initiative is in response to the growing population of Walvis Bay and the increasing demand for accessible telecommunications services.
Katangolo noted that the expansion is designed to meet the needs of the community by providing reliable and convenient customer service points. Residents of Kuisebmond will benefit from access to MTC services without the need to travel to the town center, with the new facility offering a modern environment to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
The services available at the new Mobile Home include SIM registration and replacement, account-related services, prepaid and postpaid solutions, mobile data services, device purchases, and digital financial services through MTC Maris.
MTC continues to expand its national presence, having recently opened new outlets in Okongo and Okuryangava. For the 2027 financial year, the company is considering additional outlets in Omaruru, Otjinene, and possibly Outjo.
