NamPol seizes drugs valued at N.dollars 2.8 million in August

The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) seized various illicit drugs with a street value of more than N.dollars 2.8 million over the month of August, and arrested 102 people in connection with drug-related crimes.

This was revealed in a statement issued by police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi on Thursday, who stated that of the suspects arrested, 96 were Namibian nationals, three Congolese, six Zambians, with three others from Zimbabwe, South Africa and Angola.

The drugs seized include cannabis, Mandrax, crack cocaine and crystal meth.
