Windhoek: The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has called on Windhoek residents to stop going to the Namibian Police Criminal Record Bureau (NPCRB) office in Ausspannplatz to collect their Certificates of Conduct and other documents. This announcement aims to streamline the document collection process and alleviate disruptions at the NPCRB office.
According to Namibia Press Agency, NamPol spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, stated in a recent statement that the Ausspannplatz office has experienced an increase in visitors seeking to collect documents. 'The public is hereby discouraged from visiting the NPCRB office in Ausspannplatz for this purpose. The recent increase in the number of people visiting the NPCRB office has proven to be disruptive to the work being done there,' Shikwambi said.
NamPol has advised the public to collect their documents at the same police stations where they submitted their applications and to adhere to the waiting period they were given. Shikwambi emphasized that processing these documents can take up to 20 working days and urged members of the public to exercise patience after applying.
