Nkurenkuru: The 7th Nkurenkuru Expo gala dinner successfully raised N.dollars 600 500 on Saturday, significantly aiding the preparations for this year's event. Scheduled to run from 24 July to 02 August 2026, the expo will operate under the theme 'Empowering Economic Growth and Celebrating Heritage.'According to Namibia Press Agency, during the gala dinner, Robert Mahina Katura, the Nkurenkuru Town Council management committee chairperson, delivered remarks on behalf of the former president and patron of the Nkurenkuru Expo, Hifikepunye Pohamba. Katura emphasized that the funds would transform the expo into a practical platform for job creation and business opportunities rather than merely an annual social gathering.Katura elaborated on the significance of the theme, which aims to connect economic activity with cultural identity.
