Nairobi:Kephas Muzuma Combined School: The Otjokavare Youth Foundation has recognized the top three Grade 11 learners at Kephas Muzuma Combined School for their performance in the mock examinations. The aim was to motivate students by acknowledging their academic achievements.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the foundation awarded Ritangeni Tjindumba, Veuturura Tjihenuna, and Tjihomana Kapara with educational study packs. These packs included Oxford dictionaries, pens, pencils, rulers, exercise books, and sharpeners to aid their preparation for final examinations.
Martinez Tjitjekura Kavetu, president of the Otjokavare Youth Foundation, stated that the initiative is designed to encourage learners to remain focused and committed to their education. He emphasized the importance of motivation and support, noting that every learner deserves recognition to reach their full potential.
Kavetu urged students to not let their backgrounds or circumstances dictate their future, encouraging them to stay focused, work hard, and seek help when needed. He highlighted the foundation's belief in the power of recognition to inspire learners to take their studies seriously.
The foundation is committed to providing educational materials to assist learners who may lack access to essential resources. This initiative is part of a broader effort to invest in education and empower young people in the Kunene Region.
