Event organiser Frank Bombosch stated that preparations for the event had been completed and thanked the City of Windhoek for its support. "All logistics are fully in place, and our team is ready to deliver an exceptional, world-class experience for thousands of Namibians this weekend. We extend our deepest gratitude and pay tribute to the City of Windhoek for allowing us to shut down key parts of the city centre so that our participants can run safely. Safety is our top priority, and we strongly appeal to all motorists driving along or near the race routes to exercise extreme caution and obey traffic instructions throughout the morning," Bombosch said.Nedbank Namibia Manager for Communications and Public Relations Selma Kaulinge commended the organisers for their efforts to grow the event and mobilise the community. " The organisers have done a tremendous job of mobilising the community and building towards the growth of this event. It is particularly inspiring to see the overwhelming response from junior runners and schools. At Nedbank Namibia, our commitment to sport, public health, and youth development runs deep. Continuous innovations such as the LiveXpo race village keep the event fresh, dynamic, and engaging year after year," Kaulinge said.
