Police Identify Body Found at Gammams Water Care Works Facility

Windhoek: The man whose body was discovered at the Gammams Water Care Works facility on Sunday has been identified as 47-year-old Euhudt Timbo.

According to Namibia Press Agency, a media release issued on Tuesday by Namibian Police Force (NamPol) spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi stated that Timbo's body was discovered with visible injuries and is suspected to have washed through the drainage system.

Meanwhile, City of Windhoek spokesperson Lydia Amutenya mentioned on Monday that a security officer on patrol at the facility discovered the body in one of the machines used in the water treatment process and immediately alerted senior officers and relevant authorities. 'The scene was subsequently secured and the incident has since been handed over to NamPol for further investigation,' Amutenya said.
