Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday urged his supporters to stop attacking Attorney General Pam Bondi over the Justice Department's recent findings related to the accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Trump's call for unity comes in the wake of increasing criticism directed at Bondi by Trump's political base.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to address the growing discontent among his followers. He expressed concern over the attacks on Bondi, stating, "What's going on with my 'boys' and, in some cases, 'gals?'" He praised Bondi's performance, asserting that she is doing a "FANTASTIC JOB" and emphasized the importance of unity within the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

Trump urged his supporters not to focus their efforts on Epstein, describing him as "somebody that nobody cares about." This plea for unity and redirection of attention comes after the release of a memo by the U.S. Department of Justice on Monday. The memo stated that there is no evidence to support claims that Epstein maintained a "client list" or that he was murdered, findings that have been met with skepticism and criticism from Trump's followers.

For years, Trump and his supporters have called for the release of Epstein's alleged client list. The recent findings, however, have led to a backlash against the investigation team, prompting Trump's public defense of Attorney General Bondi and a call for his supporters to refrain from further attacks.
