Hanoi: Vietnam's consumer price index (CPI) experienced a 3.27 percent increase in the first nine months of 2025, as reported by Vietnam News Agency, citing the National Statistics Office (NSO).
According to Namibia Press Agency, the rise in CPI was primarily driven by increased costs in sectors such as education, healthcare, food, and housing. These housing costs included electricity, water, fuel, and construction materials.
The report highlighted that in September alone, the CPI saw a monthly rise of 0.42 percent and a year-on-year increase of 3.38 percent compared to the same period last year. Core inflation during the nine-month period grew by 3.19 percent, which was slightly lower than the overall CPI rise, as noted by the NSO.
