Endola: A 38-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly attacked and cut a 30-year-old man with a panga in the head at Ondjabalala 1 village in the Endola area of the Ohangwena Region.The Namibian Police Force Ohangwena crime investigations coordinator, Melanie Mburuu Tuesday said the incident occurred Sunday night.According to Mburuu, the suspect and victim allegedly had a fight at Ehenge location in Eenghala village prior to the incident.'The fight stopped and the man followed the woman to her house where he was hacked with a panga in the head and from there he ran away,' she said.Mburuu said the victim was found in his sleeping room by neighbours on Monday in a critical condition. They informed the police and the victim was transported to Engela State Hospital where he is admitted in critical condition.Mburuu said the suspect was arrested on charges of attempted murder and is expected to appear in the Oshakati Magistrate's Court this week.Police investigation into the matter continues.S ource: The Namibia Press Agency
