Okahandja Football League top contender Young Fresh stormed to the top of the table after thrashing counterparts Guardians FC 4-1 over the weekend, thus leading the log standings on a goal difference and overtaking Guardians FC with 16 points apiece.

The league yet again produced mouthwatering fixtures over the weekend with the Legends team producing the highest scoring margin after comfortably beating Ora Eleven by seven goals to one. This has earned them a place in the top seven with four goals scored by Kores Tinyu Hafeni while Bezuidenhout Andimba registered a brace.

Other results over the weekend saw Dollar United who are yet to taste defeat emerge as serious title contenders after beating Northern United 2-1 earning them 15 points. Smokkel Boys also picked up their third consecutive win after thrashing Battle Boys 4-0.

Okahandja Football Club played to a one-all stalemate against California.

The league action is expected to resume on 18 September with Mikra to take on Oshako in a postponed match.
