Alcaraz and Sinner Advance to Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final

London: The semifinals of the Wimbledon men's singles competition concluded with Carlos Alcaraz of Spain and Jannik Sinner of Italy securing their spots in the final. At the All England Club, Alcaraz, seeded second, defeated Taylor Fritz from the United States, who was seeded fifth, with scores of 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (6). Meanwhile, top-seeded Jannik Sinner overcame sixth-seeded Novak Djokovic from Serbia in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the women's doubles semifinal matches also took place, with the duo of Veronika Kudermetova from Russia and Elise Mertens from Belgium defeating Desirae Krawczyk of the United States and Olivia Gadecki of Australia. Kudermetova and Mertens turned the match around after losing the first set, ultimately winning 3-6, 6-0, 6-3.

In the other women's doubles semifinal, Hsieh Su-wei from Chinese Taipei and Jelena Ostapenko from Latvia secured victory over the top-seeded team of Taylor Townsend from the United States and Katerina Siniakova from the Czech Republic. Hsieh and Ostapenko won in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4, to advance to the final.
