NSW Premier Chris Minns expressed his personal opinion during a press conference in Sydney, suggesting that the northern end footbridge of the iconic beach should be torn down. The footbridge in question connects a major road to a park adjacent to the beach and was used by the alleged gunmen during an attack on an event celebrating the Jewish festival of Hanukkah.Eastern Sydney's Waverley Council is set to hold a special meeting on Thursday night to deliberate on the removal of the footbridge.
