Tokyo:The Bank of Japan has announced its decision to maintain its benchmark interest rate at approximately 1.25 percent. This decision follows the conclusion of its two-day monetary policy meeting on Friday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the central bank opted to keep the rate steady, marking a continuation of its current monetary policy stance.

The decision comes as part of the bank's ongoing efforts to manage economic conditions and achieve its financial objectives.
