China’s State Council Announces Key Official Appointments and Removals

Beijing: China's State Council on Monday announced the appointment and removal of several officials. This move marks a significant reshuffle within the nation's governmental structure.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Li Gao has been appointed as the vice minister of ecology and environment, taking over the position from Zhao Yingmin. In a similar shift, Jiang Wensheng will now serve as the vice minister of agriculture and rural affairs, replacing Wu Hongyao.

Additionally, Yan Dong has been named as the new vice minister of commerce, and Li Zhen has taken on the role of deputy head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. These appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and leadership to their respective departments.
