De Minaur Advances to Second Round with Victory Over Bu Yunchaokete at China Open

Beijing: Third seed Alex de Minaur of Australia advanced to the second round of the China Open with a 6-4, 6-0 win against China's Bu Yunchaokete on Friday at the Diamond Court of the National Tennis Center.

According to Namibia Press Agency, De Minaur secured the opening set by breaking serve in the fifth game. The world No. 8 maintained his composure in the tenth game, delivering an ace at 30-all and capitalizing on an error from Bu on set point to take the set 6-4.

In the second set, the 26-year-old Australian dominated, winning six consecutive games to clinch the match. De Minaur recorded a total of 10 aces, doubling Bu's count, and faced only one break point, which he saved.

This match marked their third encounter this year, with De Minaur previously defeating Bu in Miami and Washington. Bu, 23, is currently ranked world No. 89 and is the highest-ranked Chinese male player in singles.

De Minaur has had a successful season, capturing the title at the Washington Open and reaching the quarterfinals at the US Open.
