Windhoek: Round 13 of the Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) Premier League produced decisive results, with four teams securing their places in the 2026 Premier League semi-final play-offs. Defending champions Kudus continued their campaign with a 35-26 victory over UNAM. The Walvis Bay-based side, which claimed the Premier League title for the first time in 2025, confirmed its spot in the semi-finals with this win.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the defeat ended UNAM's hopes of breaking into the top four. With three matches remaining, Kudus sit third on the log with 61 points, while the University of Namibia outfit are fifth with 38 points. Grootfontein returned to winning form after a tough spell, beating Dolphins 54-22 in Swakopmund. This victory moved them into fourth place with 57 points, providing a 19-point cushion over fifth-placed UNAM. Dolphins are seventh with 23 points.

United collected maximum points after Reho Falcons withdrew from their fixture. United remain second with 65 points from 13 matches. Meanwhile, Falcons are eighth with five points after being docked points for not honoring their fixture for the third time this season. Log leaders Wanderers had a weekend off but retained top spot with 69 points from 13 matches.

In another match, Rehoboth defeated Western Suburbs 51-14. The Khomasdal-based Suburbs remain winless this season, sitting at the bottom with minus three points after being docked points for missing a fixture against Kudus. Rehoboth holds sixth place with 28 points.

Round 14 of the NRU Premier League continues Saturday, with Windhoek and Rehoboth hosting the four scheduled fixtures.
