Indonesia’s Free Meal Program Targets 9.3 Million by 2025

Jakarta: Indonesia's Ministry of Population and Family Development announced Monday that the government's free nutritious meal program has reached 1.2 million pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers, out of a total target of 9.3 million by the end of 2025.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the program was launched in January this year as part of the government's broader effort to improve public nutrition and reduce stunting nationwide. It is aimed at toddlers, schoolchildren, pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as the elderly. Minister of Population and Family Development Wihaji confirmed, "We have reached 1.2 million out of the 9.3 million target," highlighting the progress made towards achieving the program's goals.
