Nkurenkuru:Teachers from both public and private schools within the Kandjimi circuit have been encouraged to collaborate and stay committed to the educational mission, despite facing numerous challenges. This call to action was made during their annual staff conference held on Friday at the Nkurenkuru Expo Hall, under the theme 'Strengthening Our Education Community Beyond Walls through Teamwork and Collaboration'.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the Kandjimi circuit Acting Inspector of Education, Sheetekela Homateni, emphasized the importance of unity and commitment among educational staff in his opening remarks. He highlighted the ongoing issues such as classroom shortages, inadequate road access to schools, and the lack of learning materials as significant hurdles that educators must tackle.
David Ipulwa Hamutenya, representing the Ukwangali Traditional Authority, expressed the authority's readiness to partner with the education sector to enhance educational outcomes. He stressed the vital role teachers play in shaping young minds and urged them to perform their duties with dedication. Hamutenya also emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous languages and strengthening cultural education to build strong identities and responsible citizens.
