Mariental:The 2026 Mariental Trade Festival officially commenced on Friday with a vibrant fireworks display. The event aims to bring together local businesses, exhibitors, and visitors in a bid to showcase products and promote entrepreneurship within the community.

According to NAMPA, the festival is scheduled to run from October 22 to October 24, 2026. Mariental Mayor, Ethel Isaacks, highlighted the festival's role in providing businesses with the chance to connect with customers and form partnerships. She emphasized that the event is a platform to celebrate local businesses, promote entrepreneurship, and spur economic growth in Mariental.

Mayor Isaacks encouraged both residents and visitors to support local enterprises and expressed her satisfaction with the community's collective effort toward the town's development. Meanwhile, Mariental Municipality Chairperson, Hermanus Isaack, praised the festival as a celebration of entrepreneurship, creativity, and community spirit. He noted that the event gathers people from various backgrounds and industries, facilitating the exchange of ideas and exploration of new opportunities.

Chairperson Isaack also extended gratitude to the municipality, Trade Festival Committee, sponsors, and stakeholders for their efforts in organizing the festival. Attendees are invited to explore the exhibition stalls, enjoy entertainment, and support participating businesses throughout the festival, which will conclude on Saturday.
