According to Namibia Press Agency, the Russian defense ministry issued a statement confirming the successful destruction and interception of the drones. In light of these events, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft have been implemented at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport from 9:54 a.m. Moscow time (0654 GMT) and at the city's Zhukovsky Airport, indicating a heightened state of alert in the region.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin remarked on Thursday morning that Russian air defense systems are actively working to repel ongoing Ukrainian drone attacks, underscoring the continued tension and proactive defense measures in place to protect the capital's airspace.
