Namibian veteran politician and former Deputy Prime Minister Marco Hausiku has died in the late hours of Thursday afternoon.

He was 67.

Hausiku who also served as former Minister of Foreign Affairs and as Swapo deputy secretary-general died after being severely ill over the past two months, a close relative confirmed. More to follow.
