Aichi-Nagoya:China swept the synchronized diving events at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, winning both the women's and men's titles. Chen Yiwen and Chen Jia claimed victory in the women's 3m springboard synchro, while Yang Hao and Lian Junjie topped the men's 10m platform synchro competition.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Chen Yiwen and Chen Jia secured their gold with a score of 328.56, comfortably ahead of South Korea's Kim Su-ji and Kim Na-hyun, who scored 254.70 to take silver. Malaysia's Ong Ker Ying and Lee Yiat Qing finished with bronze at 243.72.

Chen Yiwen, who previously won the Asian Games title with Chang Yani and earned two golds at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, expressed that the Games provided renewed confidence. She described the competitive atmosphere as revitalizing, noting, "Before the whistle I was a little nervous, but once it blew, the competitive feeling came back."

On the men's side, Yang Hao and Lian Junjie scored 465.54 to secure the gold, continuing their partnership from the Paris 2024 Olympics. Malaysia's team finished second with 377.52, and South Korea took bronze with 375.90. Yang mentioned adjustments in their dives this season, emphasizing quality execution due to reduced difficulty, with their focus on another Olympic gold at LA28.

Malaysia also celebrated success, with Enrique Harold and Elvis Priestly Clement earning silver in the men's event. Harold expressed happiness over upgrading his previous Asian Games bronze to silver, stating that competing against top divers like China's provided inspiration and learning opportunities.
