Windhoek:Miguel Almiron led Paraguay to a 2-0 victory over Bolivia in an international friendly match, scoring both goals for his team.

According to Namibia Press Agency , the match saw Paraguay take the lead in the 17th minute when Almiron scored from close range following a headed pass by Mauricio Magalhaes. Almiron, a former Newcastle United winger, secured the win by doubling the lead early in the second half. He controlled a pass from Julio Enciso before finishing into the far corner.

Bolivia had opportunities to score late in the game but was thwarted by Paraguay's goalkeeper Gaston Olveira, who made several key saves, including stopping a penalty from Miguel Terceros.

Looking ahead, Bolivia is set to play Argentina in Cordoba on Wednesday, while Paraguay will face Colombia in New Jersey on Friday.
