China, Russia, Mongolia Sign Tea Road Tourism Plan for 2025-2026

Darkhan: The China-Russia-Mongolia Tea Road Tourism Cooperation and Development Plan for 2025-2026 has been signed in the northern Mongolian city of Darkhan. The signing took place on Friday during the 9th tourism ministerial conference of China, Russia, and Mongolia, with the goal of enhancing trilateral exchanges in the tourism sector.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the plan outlines that the three countries will collaborate to develop and promote joint tourism routes and stops along the historic "Tea Road." This includes launching a cross-border self-driving tour brand along the "Tea Road" and improving the convenience of cross-border tourism.

The conference saw the participation of representatives from the tourism departments of China, Russia, and Mongolia, along with related associations. A concurrent event, the China-Russia-Mongolia travel agents meeting, attracted numerous cultural and tourism enterprises and associations from the three nations.

In addition to the signing of the plan, a "Tea Road" themed exhibition and the launch of the "Tea Road" self-driving tour were held simultaneously, marking a significant step in promoting tourism collaboration among the three countries.
