Outjo: The Kunene Regional Football Association (KUNRFA) has announced strict entry and accreditation measures ahead of the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Cup Kunene Preliminary Second Division Round of 16 matches on Saturday at Etoshapoort Stadium in Outjo. In a statement issued on Friday, KUNRFA NFA Co-ordinator Bolla Nangombe said all participating clubs were instructed to comply with competition regulations to ensure safety, discipline, and the smooth running of the tournament.According to Namibia Press Agency, clubs will be held fully responsible for the behavior and conduct of their players, officials, and supporters throughout the competition. The statement emphasized that each participating team is accountable for the conduct and actions of its officials, players, and supporters, with club leadership responsible for maintaining discipline and adherence to the spirit of fair play.KUNRFA has further warned that any misconduct during the competition would be addressed in accordance with NFA disci plinary regulations. The association has introduced stricter access control procedures for all players and team officials entering the stadium. Under the new measures, all players and officials must present a valid NFA FIFA E-Connect Player Card for the 2025/26 season, issued to KUNRFA Second Division member clubs, as their official accreditation pass for entry into the stadium.KUNRFA stated that any player or official who fails to produce the required accreditation document, or who has not been cleared by the Local Organising Committee (LOC), will be required to pay an entry fee of N.dollars 20 at the gate. According to Nangombe, the move is aimed at preventing abuse of free entry privileges reserved for registered players and officials under NFA regulations.Saturday's Round of 16 fixtures will see Etosha United FC face Aweh United FC, while Epupa Zebra Stars FC takes on Green Dangers FC. Okarindi Komutati FC will battle Kunene NAMPOL FC in one of the tournament's most anticipated clashes, while Sixty El even FC meets !Ugab FC. Chairpersons of participating clubs have been urged to communicate the requirements to their teams to avoid delays and inconveniences during match-day proceedings.
