Rundu:A man died after collapsing in Sauyemwa, Rundu, on Sunday evening.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Namibian Police Force Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, reported that the incident took place around 18h00 near Kahonzo Filling Station. The deceased has been identified as Kambongi Mathias Hausiku, although his age remains unknown.

It is reported that Hausiku left his home to relieve himself in a nearby bush but collapsed and died. His mother, concerned by the delay, went searching for him and discovered a group of people gathered around his lifeless body, which she recognized as her son.

Family members have mentioned that Hausiku had been unwell before the incident. His next of kin have been notified, and the body was taken to the Rundu State Hospital mortuary. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the cause of death.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is ongoing.
