Oshakati: The fourth edition of the Northern Volley Games is set to take place at the Embadu sports stadium in Oshakati this Saturday. Founder of the tournament, Asheel Ramjit, shared that the event has already attracted numerous corporate companies and teams from across the northern areas of Oshana, Ohangwena, Omusati, and Oshikoto.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the competition welcomes businesses and the general public, strictly excluding registered or professional league volleyball players. Ramjit emphasized that the games are intended for non-professionals, focusing on team building and enjoyment for the whole family.

Ramjit highlighted that all participating teams must consist of a 50/50 male and female representation. He noted First National Bank as the main sponsor of the event, with plans to expand this initiative to all regions of the country.

The founder urged the public to attend in large numbers, encouraging community support for this day of fun and community spirit.
