Palm Beach:U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that Brazilian politician Flavio Bolsonaro is welcome to remain in the United States for an indefinite period.

According to NAMPA, Trump clarified that although there are no plans for a meeting with Bolsonaro, he expressed sympathy for the Brazilian candidate, stating that Bolsonaro was "treated very shabbily" following his defeat in the presidential runoff.

Bolsonaro, representing the Liberal Party, lost the election on October 25. He arrived in the U.S. on Wednesday with his family, traveling by private plane from Argentina, with a stopover in Ecuador, before reaching the United States. Trump's comments were made at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, where he referred to the Brazilian election as "a disgrace."
