Zambezi Bream and Cultural Expo Kicks Off at Katima Mulilo with NHE Support

Katima mulilo: The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) backed Zambezi Bream and Cultural Expo kicked off at Katima Mulilo on Monday morning. The event is being held at the Zambezi Waterfront and Tourism Park, located next to the Zambezi Regional Council building.

According to Namibia Press Agency, various exhibitors are set to present their products and services at this year's expo, which will run from August 4 to August 10, 2025. The official opening is scheduled for August 6. On Friday, NHE announced a sponsorship of N.dollars 150,000 for the expo, positioning itself as the main sponsor for this year's festival.

Mutonga Matali, NHE's Manager for Corporate Communications and Marketing, stated during the symbolic cheque handover that the sponsorship is a significant milestone, marking the first time the festival has received such substantial support. Matali emphasized that this sponsorship aims to enhance cooperation with the regional and local leadership of the Zambezi Region, fostering collaborative efforts in pursuit of socio-economic development.

NHE is currently developing 546 housing units in Katima Mulilo, and Matali encouraged residents to update their details or register on the waiting list. He highlighted that various products are available for clients, particularly those with NHE bonds.

Other notable sponsors of the expo include Bank Windhoek and MTC, as noted by Ipuleni Kafe-Mate, KMTC's corporate communications officer.
