Gobabis: The Namport Omaheke second division league outfit Desert Rollers have a dream of representing the region in the first division. The team head coach, Ewaldt Zuma Kavirombo said this in an interview with Nampa on Monday after his side's triumph over Epako Pirates, 2-1, and climbing the ladder to top the league over the weekend.

The first division football is our priority and the players are up to the task." He expressed strong faith in his players as their level of play has improved, signaling a promising future. Kavirombo highlighted the dedication, discipline, and determination of the youthful players, which have contributed positively to their results so far.
Desert Rollers FC has only lost one game during the campaign, to third-placed Gobabis SC. Kavirombo acknowledged the ongoing competitive race in the second division, expressing satisfaction with the healthy competition as it is essential for their transition to professional standards. Additionally, he suggested that the league management arrange coaching clinics for local coaches in the region.
