The Futsal League will crown its champions in different divisions at the Windhoek Showgrounds this weekend.

Last week the Express Credit Futsal League hosted its last league fixtures, which saw exciting football take place and teams outclassing their opponents for spots in the semi-finals.

Addressing the media on Wednesday, Futsal Namibia League founder, Andre Tirtiran, said the season saw a lot of upsets in the Women’s League as well as the First Division.

“This weekend we are expecting competitive games on both Friday and Saturday. We are calling on football lovers to come in numbers and cheer these teams on,” he said.

The first play-offs will start on Friday with the boys Under-17 semi-finals that will see Swallows and ACFA 2 locking horns at 15h00, while The Birds and ACFA 1 will play at 17h00.
